SuccessFactors Account

This account is used by the Snaps of the SuccessFactors Snap Pack.

You can create an account from Designer or Manager. In Designer, when working on pipelines, every Snap that needs an account prompts you to create a new account or use an existing account. The accounts can be created for or used from:

  • Your private project folder: This folder contains the pipelines that will use the account.

  • Your Project Space’s shared folder: This folder is accessible to all the users that belong to the Project Space.

  • The global shared folder: This folder is accessible to all the users within an organization of the SnapLogic instance.

Account Configuration

In Manager, you can navigate to the required folder and create an account of it (see Accounts). To create an account for SuccessFactors, proceed as follows:

1. Click Create, then select SuccessFactors > SuccessFactors Basic Auth Account.

2. Supply an account label.

3. Select the Host server from the dropdown list;then enter the User Id and Password for your SuccessFactors account.

4. Click Apply.

Label:

Required. User-provided the label for the account instance

Default value: [None]

Host server:

Required. The host server of the SuccessFactors data centers.

Default value: [None]

This property allows you to select or enter the host name of the server. Please notice that, from the suggestion dropdown, the host names with descriptions of public SuccessFactors data centers will be displayed. In case your desired host server is not available in the list provided in suggestion, you can enter it in the text box. While entering the host name, please use the format shown in the following example: "apisalesdemo4.successfactors.com".

User Id:

Required. The SuccessFactors user name and the company Id with the form of “userName@companyId”.

Default value: [None]

Password:

Required. The password of the SuccessFactors user Id.

Default value: [None]
